Wapple Quest

“In the early 1990s, Sony and Nintendo were teaming up to build a new console.”

Wapple Quest is a parody game made for Kiwijam 2019. The concept was to make a game that could have been a lost prototype for the PlayStation 1 console, as if made by a game studio that had never made a 3D game before.

I made the game solo within 48 hours, using Unity. It was voted 2nd place for ‘Best Overall Game’ at the game jam.

The goal, if playing solo, is to find all of the hidden Wapples. If playing local multiplayer, the goal is to find a target number of Wapples first.

It supports 1 to 4 players.
