The Plucky Squire

Storybook characters discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their book and must jump between 2D & 3D realms to save their friends in this charming action-adventure.

The Plucky Squire is a game published by Devolver Digital and released on PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.

I worked on this title for around two and a half years between 2022 to 2025 as a Gameplay Programmer. I primarily worked on minigames and enemies, a boss encounter, and various other gameplay elements - over the course of the game there were not many areas that I didn’t work in!

It was a lot of fun to work on The Plucky Squire, and I’m really proud of the results. It’s a great game!
